Other than ANZ and CBA, all the heavyweights were down.

ANZ finished up 0.4% to $20.93
CBA finished up 0.6% to $49.13
MQG finished down -1.1% to $24.12
NAB finished down -2.5% to $23.43
WBC finished down -2.7% to $20.51

Resources
BHP finished down -1.9% to $35.19
RIO finished down -3.0% to $61.80
WPL finished down -1.9% to $31.30

It’s been a tough year for the Australian share market.  Whilst the economy has been travelling quite well in comparison to the rest of the world, the share market has been an absolute dog!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Here’s hoping for a more successful, less volatile 2012.
